Hi users,
I want to compile and run VTK 3.1 on my Linux-system. I do get a lot
problems with compiling (undefined members in Mesa-libs) and/or running
(Illegal instruction, core-dumped). I have a few simple questions and I hope
the answers will solve the problem:
- Do I need a graphics-card that is 'OpenGL compatible' (I've got a
Diamond SpeedStar A55 and the Cone.tcl works fine in Windows NT 4.0 with
Win32OpenGL) ?
- Do I have to use the option --with-mesa or the option --with-opengl in
./configure (or skip both of them)?
- Is there someone that is using VTK 3.1 on a RedHat 6.1 Linux system
(and wants to tell me how he/she did this)?
Thanks in advance,
Marcel van Straten
