Install VTK on a Linux-system

Hello,

I tried to install VTK on a Linux-system. I followed the instructions in
the Linux-HOWTO. After a while I get the following error:

vtkMesaRenderWindow.cxx: 'class vtkMesaRenderWindow' has no member named
'OffScreenContextID'

What's wrong?
