coloring streamlines

Hi VTK-users!

I create streamlines from an unstructured grid
with cell- and point-data (vectors and scalars)
using vtkStreamLine.

I set SpeedScalarsOff() 
(according to the man-pages this should tell 
vtkStreamer to use scalar-values 
instead of vector-magnitudes), 
but the coloring of the streamlines is 
not as it should be (when using 
scalars with the corresponding lookup-table).

The same thing happens with visualization of 
velocity-vectors (using vtkGlyph3d, 
SetColorModeToColorByScalar() already set).

Can somebody tell me what is wrong?
