Thanks for the clarification. The whole matrix/vector ambiguity is
unfortunate. I am a little embarassed because I should have remembered
this idiosyncracy from my work with the vtkOBBTree class. I would
suggest that future versions of vtkMath have some kind of comment
warning that v is not an array of eigenvectors, but a matrix whose
columns are eigenvectors. I promise I will not be the last person
to run afoul of this.
