Service should be back to normal now.

For those interested, the problem was that the new GitLab version
(incorrectly) ignores some remote API query parameters that the old
version (correctly) honored, but it only mattered in certain cases.
This is why some actions worked and others didn't.  We've taught our
client to tolerate this bug.
