Hello everyone,

I am Ashray Malhotra, currently a fourth year student from IIT Bombay. I
live in Mumbai, India. This is my first experience with open source, am
both excited and nervous :D

My major is Electrical Engineering and my specialisation is in Signal
Processing. I still have a year of college of left and hope to spend a lot
of that time working on awesome open source projects. My background in
coding is majorly my college courses. I also had a summer intern in Goldman
Sachs Technologies last year and was the Teaching Assistant for the
introduction to computer science course on EdX.

The project I'll be working on in GSOC is Eulerian Video Motion
Magnification, which basically magnifies minute changes in videos to make
them visible. This TED talk (https://youtu.be/fHfhorJnAEI) inspired me on
this topic, have a look if it interests you as well.

Please feel free to ping me if you think I could be of any help. Would
really appreciate help from you guys in helping me getting started with the
open source world.
