This reminds me of another Gerrit annoyance: it is very difficult to get Gerrit to show you the difference between changeset revisions. I forget whether it happens at the topic or the changeset level, but Gerrit has a bug that prevents this kind of diff. If someone uploads a new revision of a topic it is important to be able to see the diffs to the previous revision, not just the branch point.
