That file definitely exists, and is definitely a Universal shared library that contains the ppc arch.  So not sure why the selection is being overruled...

I started a build this morning (it's slow) where I specify the 2.5 version, which is a better choice anyway since that's what comes with the OS.  (2.7 was installed because we had some script or other that needed something newer than 2.5.)
