[vtk-developers] Cut volume with freehand curve

Hi,
Probably solved a million times...
I need to cut a volume ideally in the following way:

-          Draw a freehand 2D curve over the volume

-          Then extrude this curve in 3D given the current camera location

-          Then use this frustrum as stencil to chop of unwanted areas of my 3D volume
Does anyone have some hints how to do this in vtk?
