[vtk-developers] Ensight readers

I've been having a play with the new vtkPolyhedron support in VTK.
Unfortunately I can't easily test out the EnSight reader within paraview
since paraview seems to use the one in Servers/Filters/ (without
polyhedral support) and not in VTK/IO (with polyhedral support).

What is the rationale of having readers in the paraview Server/Filters
instead of just having them available under VTK/IO?
Which reader bits actually need to be where?
