Thanks a lot to Kitware for switching to a DVCS, it will be much
easier to follow development and test patches.
There is no VTK 5.6 branch in the repository, is it
http://vtk.org/gitweb?p=VTK.git;h=0c23794
or will a newer branch be created soon?
