[vtk-developers] Considering a branch for n-way array statistics

Hi,

I'm working on making the n-way arrays work with the statistics filters.
Since this is going to be a long process that may impact the existing
statistics performance for a while, it seems like a good idea to branch it
and leave it available for anyone who wants to experiment.

Does anyone have any thoughts or objections to my doing so?
