[vtk-developers] Possible bug with off screen rendering on X?

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is the right fix but the attached elementary Python 
example demonstrates a problem with off screen rendering under X on 
Linux.  The patch fixes the problem.  Could someone with a better idea 
of the code comment?
