[vtk-developers] about moving a single actor in a render window

Hi,
i'm a VTK newbe...

i've just realized a scene with a complex volume that spends a great
amount of time to render.
In this scene i need to move a cursor3d but anytime i move the cursor
i don't see it until i render the entire scene.
What can i do to see the new position of a single 3d object without
render the entire scene or the great volume that it contains?
