It seems from some chatting here, that we also have a very similar 
problem on a linux box with NVidia Quaddro FX 1300 running driver 71.74 
(I think).

The problem is different on the linux box. (Not tried the netcdr reader 
on it yet), but it can be reliably reproduced it seems by taking some 
data, running pointdatatocelldata filter on it and then displaying. The 
cell data looks rubbish. Running celltoPoint again goes back to being ok.

Since the netCDF reader is the first time I've worked with Cell data as 
opposed to point data, it would explain why I'm only seeing it now.
(Any idea which driver version would be stable on win XP - thatt's my 
main test machine right now?)
