Hi Ken,

Yes, it should.  Thanks for pointing that out.  I've been working recently 
on converting vtkPolyData filters to use the new pipeline (and making them 
subclasses of vtkPolyDatAlgorithm).  I'll look into adding that method 
sometime today.
