[vtk-developers] Where did my text go?

Hi,

Indeed, that problem has been present on the mac for a few months. Any 
vtkActor2D manifests it.

2D actors were getting rendered in the wrong place on the Z buffer, I 
think.

I was able to work around it with:

It occurs on all macs, regardless of which graphics card they have.

It causes the failing of ScalarBar-image test (part of the text is 
clipped by the sphere)
