[vtk-developers] IRC boycott?

Unfortunately, we in the US tend to seem forget that folks in far away time zones often stay up very
late or get up very early to communicate with us. Agreed that we should have communicated a final
time.

Sounds like the chat went well, but I still can't get through my firewall.

I'm really upset.  I take effort to get things going and no one
confirms the meet in time.  I thought no one is interested and stay
late at my department and just before the meet you choose to mail me.
I did not get a chance to check email all afternoon and just checked
email now.  I'm not sitting at my computer all day and night waiting
for vtk-devel email.  Unless you folks decide to give me some time in
advance there is no way I can plan on attending something.  I have
other things to do too!

I waited till today afternoon (my time) for any confirmations on the
chat time and after that did not get a chance to check mail.  Not a
soul responded with ANYTHING.  NOTHING!  I'm about 10.5 hours ahead of
US EST.  If you folks choose to come to office in the morning and then
tell me there is a chat session on that very day in a few minutes it
is not possible for me to do anything about it.  I mailed asking for
confirmation on Sun, 21 Apr 2002 10:49:19 +0530.  You respond just
before choosing to chat.  How very communicative.  You folks all need
to work on your communication skills!  Couldn't someone send one email
on Monday saying Tuesday is fine?  You want me to arrange a meeting
for everyone at a time thats convenient for you and dont bother to
think that I'm 10.5 hours ahead and at least tell me in advance.  And
this after making me wait for 1.5 hours this saturday!  Thank you very
much.
