Try LockBounds.

 

For example:

view = GetActiveView()

view.MaxClipBounds = [x0,x1,y0,y1,z0,z1]

view.LockBounds = 1

camera.SetClippingRange(3,8)
camera.GetClippingRange()
(3.0, 8.0)

Render()

camera.GetClippingRange()
(1.975, 4.2975)

 

 

How can I force changes on Clipping Range & Thickness values?
