[Paraview] Custom Glyph

Hi,

Any links or advice on how to create a custom glyph?

I'd like a sphere divided into 8 equal sized/shaped patches and colored
alternate black and white, to represent the centroid of a point mass. I
have lots of these, so a glyph would be best.
