I have a vtk surface mesh with given scalar values at each element surface. This can easily be visualized in paraview. I would like to see this in a given slice, but when I do that, the slice (naturally) cuts the model such that you only see a thin outline as below:

For easier visual interpretation, I would simply like to thicken the outline, i.e. make the surface visualization thicker (such that a slice becomes more viewable). Does anyone know if this is doable in paraview?
