[Paraview] Changing variable names

Is there a way to change the names of variables?  I'm reading a PLOT3D
function file via the PLOT3D meta file reader, and it assigns the variables
names like "Function0," "Function1," etc.  Is there a way for me to give
them meaningful names after reading them in?
