[Paraview] Always crash when dealing with .tec files

Hallo,
when i use simple tecplot files to store my data, and visualize it with 
paraview, there is always crash of the software.
The crash doesn't happen immediately when the .tec file is read in, but 
after i have done some filters. And it can not be predicted when the 
crash will happen.
I find that when working with .vtu file, there is no crash. Is there any 
method to solve such a problem?
