[Paraview] Meta File (*.mha, *.mhd) Import: Is header file transformation matrix used correctly?

Dear community,

while loading Meta Image Files (*.mhd *.mha), I noticed that the local
coordinate
axes of the resulting array stack are aligned to the global coordinate
axes,
though I would expect that the given transformation matrix within the
header
part would lead to an arbitrarily aligned spatial configuration.

After some testing I discovered that changing the given header Offset
vector
changes also the imported result, but changing the transformation matrix
did not
influence the result at all.

Is this a bug? Or did I miss a relevant library?

I was testing on a precompiled Paraview v3.98 and a self-compiled (64bit
Unix, Fedora 16) Paraview v4.1

Thanks for the answer
Andreas
