[Paraview] How to make animation or pictures through batch process

Hi everyone,

I have a series of *.vti files on a linux server. They are 2D data.
Right now, I copy those data to local desktop and visualize them.
The drawback is transferring big data.
So I want to visualize them on the server, and get some pictures or videos.

I have no idea how to do it. I've read Wiki, but it is too obscure to me. I
guess i should use pvpython, but not so sure.
Could anyone give some advice?
