[Paraview] SuperBuild question

Is there a way to tell the SuperBuild process to not look for software updates using GIT?     I doing a build on a system that doesn't have public network access and I'm actually dying on a complaint about my instance of git being too old.  However, I have already copied in the sources, so I don't want it looking for updates anyway.
