[Paraview] Crash when opening ensight gold format

Hi, 

So i'm running CFD, in house, code that output it's field files in ensight gold format.  Most of the time i have no problems with paraview opening my field files, but sometimes paraview crashes with this error output:

I was hoping someone could shed some light on what that means.  The error makes even less sense, to me, when i rerun the simulation and then the file opens flawlessly.   Any help would be much appreciated. I've only put up a the first few lines of the error traceback, let me know if you need all of them to make it more clear.
