Hi all,

I'm pleased to include the first official version of the ParaView Catalyst
User's Guide. ParaView Catalyst is meant to be linked with simulation codes
to provide a general *in situ *analysis and visualization capability*. *It
has the potential to drastically reduce the time simulation users take to
gain insight into their problems. It does this by computing the desired
quantities while a simulation code runs and can significantly reduce the
amount of simulation data that needs to be written to disk.

The user's guide is divided into three main sections:
1) User's section intended for simulation users to utilize Catalyst
co-processing with their simulation runs
2) Developer's section intended for simulation code developers to
instrument their code to work with Catalyst
3) Installer's section for the people responsible for building Catalyst and
linking with a simulation code.

There is also a github repository that contains examples at
https://github.com/acbauer/CatalystExampleCode. This is mainly targeted
towards developers to understand how to instrument their code with Catalyst.

Regards,
Andy
