Hi.
I have a display issue which surely makes work a pain. Since 3.98
appeared, I keep getting strange display artifacts.
Scenario: I would import data, do something, then, say, click on a
menu or try to resize Paraview window, and the 3dview window goes
white (or yellow, or covered in apparently random artifacts).
See the screenshot (before and after, I resized the window).

The artifacts dissapear when I click in the 3d view again. So it is
still usable, but very annoing. Imagine seeing this 76 times a minute
when you're preparing a complex visualization!

Affects Paraview > 3.98. Versions < 3.98 work perfectly and the error
isn't there (e.g. I've been testing 3.14 for an hour yesterday to
confirm this). Hence I presume something has changed in the code
itself between the versions, that affects my setup.
I am using paraview version 4.0.1 included in Debian, but the same
occurs using binaries from kitware.org (checked 3.98 and 4.01). My
video card is:

$lspci |grep -i vga

01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
[AMD/ATI] RV515/M52 [Mobility Radeon X1300]

(which means Ati Radeon x1300) on a free drivers.
Note: when adding some kernel parameters I was able to change the
character of the artifacts (like modeset=1) changes them to mostly
yellow. But that's hardly helping...

Of course I can supply more info.

regards
Wojtek
