[Paraview] PV-3.98-RC binary error

Dear ParaView developers,

I just downloaded PV-3.98-RC-Linux-64bit (binary version) and unpacked on OpenSUSE-12.2 64 bit OS.  When I ran paraview, I got the following error:

vtkEventQtSlotConnect (0x2458ce0): Cannot connect NULL objects.


Segmentation fault

Any suggestion?
I think that my QT version is 4.8.1.  Could this be the issue?
