[Paraview] VTK XML Schema

I am trying to write VTK XML (specifically UnstructuredGrid) files by hand. I've seen many different attributes for each XML tag, but I am unable to find a listing of available choices and what they mean. Is there some documentation out there that I am missing? I would prefer documentation for all of the VTK XML file types, but just UnstructuredGrid would still be immensely helpful.
