[Paraview] View geometry / boundaries

Hi Utkarsh,

my geometry is in 3D and consists of several bodies. When I make a slice, I want to see the limits of the bodies as lines in my temperature distribution. "Surface with Edges" shows me the mesh instead.

The "Group Datasets" filter does indeed give me the possibility to apply the slice to geometry and data at the same time - problem solved! :)

Are you sure you mean outline i.e. just a cube around the data bounds, or a wireframe? If the latter, then doesn't simply changing the representation to "Surface with Edges" give you what you want?

To solve your two-slice issue, select both the sources and create the "Group Datasets" filter. Now you can apply the slice to just this filter and both dataset will be operated on.
