Utkarsh, I could build a simple pvsm state file with PV 312 with only
source objects : a cone and a sphere.
1. Open this pvsm file with PV 312 : you get the expected 3D view
2. Open this pvsm file with PV 314 : you get the Layout #1 tab split
with the 3D view on the left side and the "Create View" panel on the
right side.
I hope the attached pv312satefile.pvsm file will help you.
