[Paraview] Default representation for a custom source/filter

Hi,

Is there a way in the XML file to set the default representation for
the output of a custom source/filter?  One thing I have noticed is
that a reader creating a multiblock dataset containing an unstructured
grid does not obey the outline threshold limit in the settings
(although applying filters afterwards does - e.g. if I extract the
unstructured grid from the dataset).
