[Paraview] plotting over time..

Hi,
I have a transient data set... it has about 1500 files..which are the
surface data.. when i try to plot over time. it takes like half an hour to
plot it..

The way i am doing this is
1) load the data set
2) select cell by id.
3) plot selection over time

Could anybody tell me if I am doing some wrong and if not, then how to speed
up the process..
