[Paraview] Running a pure data server

Hi Brian,

Have you seen this page:

What you need to do is:

- Compile Mesa with OSMesa support
- Compile ParaView against this Mesa with OSMesa support turned on
- Run pvserver (make sure that the Mesa libraries are in the LD_LIBRARY_PATH
on the cluster) with --use-offscreen

You don't even have to disable compositing if  you wanted to use software
rendering on the server. OSMesa does not depend on x11. It is pure software
and does not require a display.
