[Paraview] Display option to show without lighting

Would it be difficult to provide an option in the "Display" tab of the
"Object Inspector" to render without any lighting (well, just ambient and
without any shading)?  Apparently this can be done in FieldView.  Any hints
on how to do this would be appreciated.
