That would be so cool, if you could reconstruct it =)

Why are the sides curved? To make it look cute?

I was amazed how well designed Paraview's UI was. I had expected
something like PovRay [0], which is hard to learn.

I would really like to play around with your coloured cube plot, so I
hope something can be worked out =)
