[Paraview] extracting surfaces 3.4.0

[Stephen Wornom]

My mesh has rectangular exterior boundaries. Extracting one of them is 
fairly easy.

The problem is that the interior is a cylinder.
1-How do I tell PV that the cylinder boundary is a surface?
2-How do I extract the cylinder surface?
