[Paraview] extract grid loses sizes/spacings

Hi,

A simple, beginner's question:

I have an image data with non-zero origin and different than 1
spacings in each direction. When I use ExtractGrid filter, this
location/size information is lost and the extracted portion of data is
shown with index coordinates. I have to use Display>Transformation to
make it appear correctly sized and positioned, and well, it is not so
convenient at best..

Is there an extract filter that keeps this dimensionality intact? Or
how can I write one?
