[Paraview] problem compiling: debian, 64bit, gcc 4.3.1

Which mpi implementation?

here I've hand compiled the latest openmpi... with -O3 -mtune=native ... 
which are the flags I use for paraview realease althought I'm not 
absolutly convinced that the performance improves greatly just because of 
it (using the gcc suite)
