[Paraview] Rendering problem

A friend brought me a question about a rendering problem in ParaView. He
created a very simple dataset in VTK legacy format (available in
http://www.nacad.ufrj.br/~rnelias/paraview/Celula_reservatorio.vtk) and
loaded the data in PV (versions 2.6.2 and 3.1.0) without any problem but,
when he tries to move and rotate the geometry it turns completely distorted
and messed (as can be seen here
http://www.nacad.ufrj.br/~rnelias/paraview/Celula_paraview2.JPG and here
http://www.nacad.ufrj.br/~rnelias/paraview/Celula_paraview.JPG). My first
thought was that it could be a driver problem so I tried to reproduced the
same problem in my computer which showed me the same problematic geometry
(only when I move and rotate the model). If you look into the data supplied
you can see that the point coordinates are a bit large, here is another
suspicious... __Maybe__ VTK or PV is getting a confused about so large point
coordinates. Does anyone have any idea about what is happening?

Thanks for any help

PS.: Tests performed in:
     -- IBM workstation with Quadro FX 4550 video board;
     -- Dell Precision 370 workstation (Windows XP/x64 - Pentium 4 3.6GHz,
4GB of memory and Nvidia Quadro FX 3400);
     -- Laptop VAIO VGN-SZ430N (Windows Vista Business - Centrino Duo
2x2GHz, 2GB of memory and Nvidia Gforce Go 7400).
