[Paraview] reading data in paraview

Hi I'm new to paraview,
  My goal is to make a simple animation using paraview,
  First though I want to merely create the object in paraview,
  I have 4 sets of data
  positions of node (x,y,z)
  connectivity (3 nodes of a element)
  current position
  and output data
  I've been reading through the tutorials and if anyone has any recommendations on how to open the data I would appreciate it.  For instance what reader should I use?
