It's a little dated, but here's one data point:

Subject: [Paraview] scaling
Hello,
Quick question. I was wondering about the scaling ability of
paraview. I
have only run it
on a couple of dozen processors. I was wondering what is the
largest number
of processors
paraview has been run on. Also, what are the sizes of some of
the largest
datasets that have
been analyzed? Any volunteers?
Thanks,
Dave Semeraro
