[Paraview] Cell data to point data filter not working for me on post 2.4 versions.

Hi,
 
I use the cell to point data filter quite frequently with no problems on the
older versions of paraview.  However, when I try the same thing on the newer
versions the data gets deleted and I'm left with nothing.
 
Is this a bug and is there any way around it?
