[Paraview] gradient filter error

Hello,

Each time when I try to apply the gradient filter I get the follofing error:

peter at pc-10-33-25-016:~/paraview-3.0.2-Linux-x86/bin> paraview
Window manager warning: Got a request to focus 0x320001f (Kitware Pa)  
with a timestamp of 0.  This shouldn't happen!
Segmentation fault

Anybody has an idea what goes wrong?
