[Paraview] large elevation data file

Jack,

It seems like your entire file is about 140 MB. Is that correct? On a 
system with several GB of memory it seems like that would not be a 
problem. Of course PV's use of memory may not be optimum.

We've looked at files with PV that are 10 GB on Linux/Unix systems. If 
you like contact me offline about sending the file here and I can do a 
simple test (read, contour, etc.).
