[Paraview] How to show the contour on a spherical surface

With a given 3D data set, using the Cut filter can show the contour on a
plane. To show the contour on a sphere, we change the option in Cut Function
to sphere, but this sphere displayed  is not that smooth. How can I show the
contour on a
 smooth sphere surface.
