[Paraview] Probe point clouds / Point to sphere generation

I need to add some help with the kernel radius widget of the splat filter:

The number you enter into the "Kernel Radius" widget needs, I believe, 
to be <= 1.0, and is the ratio of the kernel's size to that of the data 
domain.  I believe the "size" of the data domain is the length of its 
longest side...maybe.  I'd need to re-read the doc on the splatting 
filter.  I set the default to 1/10 the size of the domain.

I set the default sampling grid to 20 samples on a side, which would 
force about 2 samples per splat.  If you want smoother results, make 
that at least 4 samples per splat.
