[Paraview] client/server display problem

Hi,

I am  running "pvserver  -rc  -ch=x.x.x.x" with "pvclient -rc 
sh=x.x.x.x"  and depending upon the machine running the client
I get the msg "unable to open display" on the toolbar icon for the 
splashscreen.  The splashscreen pops up so the connection is
working but the display of the paraview app fails. Does anyone have any 
ideas/experience with this problem?
